Croatia - Tucepi 2021
My parents, hubby and I visited Tucepi (a small Dalmatia beach town) for a 5 days last week. Tucepi is a beautiful small town on the coast of Croatia with population of less than 2,000 people. This town lives from tourism. The season lasts for about three months (mid June - mid September). I am leaving a link for you all who are interested to read more about the Croatia and Tucepi in particular. Tucepi is one of my favorite places to visit due to its peace, views and beautiful Adriatic Sea beaches. During our stay we went on a one day boat trip to visit Hvar and Brac (two islands). View from Biokovo Mountain. This picture was taken on our way to Biokovo National Park which at the end we did not visit due to a big traffic and very long wait time. However, we managed to take some very nice pictures and get a good, beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea.

This is the picture of the Villa in which we resided during our stay in Tucepi. Some of the interesting facts: Average price per night is about $30 per person. Average price for one acre of land to build on that is about 100 yards from the beach is about $450,000. Average price to purchase one of the Villas goes from $800,000 - $2,000,000. Average price to purchase decent size one apartment is about $200,000. Average occupancy of one room is 65 night in one year (rooms can take from 2 - 6 people per room, depending on a room. Villas are usually four floors high with 4-5 rooms on one floor). Villas are more popular than hotels. Average price for dinner for one person at a restaurant is about $25.

Hvar is the one of the sunniest Islands on Adriatic Sea due to not having a lot of shaded areas, especially while on the beaches.

Marian Shrine of Vepric
On our way back to Bosnia from Tucepi, Croatia we visited Marian Shrine of Vepric. This is a beautiful place where people come to find peace and pray for their needs. Just taking a stroll through the garden and looking at the Biokovo mountain on one side and Adriatic Sea on another gives such a piece of mind.
