Greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina!
Douglas and I have made it to my home country and are slowly getting used to time change. We have been here now for two days. So far we managed only to get some shopping done 🙃. As promised here are a few pictures of home and food we have eaten the last two days. Pictures are not the best as I remembered to take them after we already started eating.
Cevapi i Raznjici
Cevapi is traditional Bosnian sausage that is usually served with traditional lepinja bread. Beef kebabs were just additional meat served with mushroom sauce and some home made french fries. If you want to try Cevapi go to Julie Anne's Bakery and ask for Cevapcici (che-vap-chi-chi). Nothing is like home but so close to bring back the memories.
Pizza
Standard pizza just a lot less greasy with ham, cheese and mushrooms. Both of us agree that is a lot more tasty than any of the pizza places in Shreveport 🤫.
Louisiana's vaccine lottery
While on vacation I read that all individuals who received vaccine in Louisiana will be able to sign up for for drawing to win a million dollars. The adds of winning are higher than with lottery. So folks, I say sign up you got nothing to lose. Do not forget about me if you win 😉. Yes you will pay tax on the winnings but Good Luck 🍀
